Ghanaian gospel artist Celestine Donkor is set to host the 11th edition of her annual Celestial Praiz concert on March 9, 2025, at the Dominion Sanctuary of Victory Bible Church in Awoshie, Accra. This year’s event, themed “I Do a New Thing” and inspired by Isaiah 43:19, aims to elevate the gospel music ministry and empower church music.
In preparation for the concert, Celestine Donkor has introduced several initiatives:
•Intimate Worship Time with Singers: A pre-event program where selected church choirs have the opportunity to minister at the main concert.
•Campus Gospel with Celestine Donkor: An outreach aimed at making gospel music appealing to the youth, with the first session held on January 31, 2025, at Crown and Glory School in Gbawe.
The concert will feature performances by Celestine Donkor and her newly formed gospel group, Celestial Breed (C-Breed), comprising her longtime backing vocalists. The group recently released their debut single, “You’re Amazing.” Guest artists include Nigeria’s Minister GUC, South Africa’s Zaza Mokhathi, Ps Edwin Dadson, and Kwaku Teye.
