Meet Ronica Sings – A Voice Anointed for Worship
With a heart rooted deeply in worship and a voice anointed to uplift, Ronica Sings—born Veronica—has been a vessel of divine melody for over two decades. Her journey began long before the world knew her name. At just 12 years old, Ronica would gather children in her neighborhood to sing and act like they were performing on television—a glimpse of the calling that was already upon her life.
By age 15, she had joined the church choir, where her gift for worship began to blossom. Since then, she has remained a faithful worshipper and passionate songwriter, pouring her soul into every note.
Her first professional recording came in Toronto with lead guitarist Paa Joe, but it was in 2002 that Ronica released her debut album “Se Me Kai”—meaning “When I Remember.” The album launched in Ottawa with renowned highlife legend Jewel Ackah and the Juno Award-winning band in attendance, marking a powerful introduction of her ministry to North America.
She journeyed across Canada and the United States, ministering in churches and spreading the message of God through music. Her second album, “In His Presence” (2012), and the third album “Breakout” (2014) produced in Houston, further established her as a voice of worship and grace. That same year, she was crowned Singer of the Year at Alberta’s prestigious Obsidian Awards.
Now, in 2025, Ronica Sings returns with a powerful single titled “Enye Wo”—a worship anthem she originally wrote in the year 2000. Though the song became a household favorite across Ghana and the diaspora, Ronica remained behind the scenes. With no music video or major public engagements at the time, her voice carried far, but her face remained hidden.
Today, that changes.
Ronica has revived “Enye Wo” in a spirit-filled remix with the incredible Piesie Esther—bringing the worship anthem back to life for a new generation. Her latest works, including “Covenant Keeping God” and “Yeshua Hamashiach”, show a consistent heart of worship and a life dedicated to glorifying God.
Ronica Sings is more than an artist—she’s a worshipper, a trailblazer, and a testimony of perseverance. From local neighborhoods to global platforms, her message remains the same: It’s not by might, not by power—but by His Spirit.
